Robson’s connections at Old Trafford have borne fruit at last with the arrival of Phil Bardsley on loan. The 22 year old defender joins for 3 months.
Primarily a full back, Bardsley will cover for the injured Derek Geary. Hopefully he will find Robson and Kidd’s instructions easier to carry out then previous incumbents of the right back shirt.
Bardsley has only made a handful of starts for Manchester United but has had loan spells with Royal Antwerp, Burnley, Rangers and Aston Villa.
