There`s a bit of a time difference to where I am at the moment so I wasn`t able to see the match score and reports until this morning. I`m happy with the 2-0 win though, gets us back on track and hopefully will give the team a bit more encouragement going forward.

I was chatting with a friend of mine who went to the game last night, he reckoned we didn`t do too bad, but bossed the game in the second half. More attacking football, as we were playing in the first half of the season, plus both wing-backs looked hungry for a goal.

Glad to see Stevens get on the score sheet though, as well as Brooks. It`s also nice looking at the stats and seeing twelve attempts with four on target as well as more possession. I would have thought Fleck might have got on the score sheet seeing as though he may have tried to prove a point with not being picked by Scotland.

That result puts us one place away from the play-off places now, so am looking forward to following the next few games to see if we can get one of those. I was not expecting automatic promotion this season, our first back in this League, but did have my hopes up a while ago when we were at the top! I`m sure many other Blades fans felt the same, but to be honest if we get the play-offs I`ll be over the moon for a chance of getting back to the Premier League. After all we`re only two points adrift from sixth-placed Boro.

I`m just gutted I`m missing the action at BDTBL, and hope that the play-offs come off as I`ll be back for them!

Anyway, Forest at home next. Hopefully we can keep it going against them. They are in sixteenth and mid-table obscurity this season. I don`t think they can make a push for the top six, so hopefully they will do us a favour this weekend.

I`ve just been looking at the table – it`s pretty tight down at the bottom end of the League; see the Wendy`s are only 8 points from safety and away at Leeds on Saturday!!

Anyway, here`s to another win at the weekend for the red and white wizards!

UTB!!
